2014 Australian Writers' Guild Awards

The 2014 AWGIE Awards ceremony was held on 5 September in Sydney and paid tribute to some of Australia’s most talented writers across more than 20 performance writing categories.

The awards are judged by writers, and based solely on the script. 

The ACTF was a bronze sponsor of the event and congratulates all winners and nominees, in particular the following:

Trop Jr gets ready to FLY!

On Friday 25 July, Sydney played host to the Trop Jr Roughcut symposium. The sold out event was attended by more than 200 young filmmakers, who were treated to a day of conversations with industry professionals.
